I know many will point me to Devonthink and I own Dthink Office Pro but for me it is not as intuitive and I seem to spend more time fiddling with the program (trying to get it to do things) than gathering data to fill it. Anyway this is a good app and I have almost transitioned completely to Notebooks without a hitch. I really want my data off dropbox (nothing against dropbox or Evernote but privacy does have a value whether some see that now or not. Something SOHO has not been able to pull off. It syncs via dropbox, Webdave and others and according to it's web site iCloud sync is coming. Probably one of the best things of all is that Notebooks not only has an iOS version but it actually syncs consistently well. and it's convenient with all the ways to seamlessly add things to your collection without interfering with your workflow.
